The Canadian Foundation for Dietetic Research (CFDR) returned to the Dietitians of Canada Conference this year with a three-day showcase of research presentations from professional and student researchers from across the country.
Addressing topic areas such as dietetic practice and education, nutritional assessment and therapy, determinants of food choice, clinical research and patient services, and wellness and public health, the 41 oral presentations provided new research insights across a broad spectrum of dietetic practice.
Further, this year we expanded the program to include seven formal poster presentations by student researchers during the Exhibitor Showcase. This afforded new researchers to share their work with conference delegates in an informal setting. This program will be continued and expanded at the 2017 conference in St. John’s, NL.
