CCFN Library
The Canadian Council of Food and Nutrition (CCFN) worked to advance the nutritional health and well-being of Canadians for several years. Through the course of the Council’s work several documents (Watching Briefs and Fact Sheets) were created, providing information to health care providers, researchers and consumers on such important nutrition topics as childhood obesity, trans fat, sodium and vitamin D.
On July 31, 2011 the Board of Trustees of CCFN made the difficult decision to wind down operations. The Trustees wanted the CCFN legacy to live on, and to ensure that the library of nutrition documents was made available to those looking for nutrition information. In September 2011 all of the documents created by CCFN were donated to CFDR to establish an online resource library.
CFDR is pleased to host this CCFN library of materials.
